Hawthorne Strip

This is a small, laid back, neighborhood dive with friendly staff, strippers, and locals and reasonably priced food and drinks. There's one small, raised stage with a pole tucked into the corner. Its rail holds seven seats, and there are two tables next to it with a few more chairs. The place is lit mainly with blacklights and the neon signs behind the bar, while a disco ball turns overhead. The layout is narrow, with a long bar on one side and three 50's-style booths on the other, and a small clearing with a table and video poker on the way to the bathroom.

Strippers pick their own songs before each set on a jukebox next to the stage. Music is generally rock, indie, or pop. The dressing room is on the opposite side of the bar from the stage, so after their sets dancers either get dressed on the stage's stairs or walk half-naked across the club.

The dancers at The Hawthorne Strip tend to be more down-to-earth, girl-next-door types than other places, as the owners have fairly lax rules in regards to appearance.
